Terra Cat is the new name of New Zealand’s national Caterpillar dealer, a business built on 90 years’ experience. Signalling a shift to a more relationship orientated brand, our work started with the core proposition of ‘power on the ground’ talking to enduring relationships and close working partnerships. This led to the name of Terra Cat, originating from the Latin words terra firma - meaning ‘firm earth or solid ground’. The name captures how the business delivers power on the ground in people, place, product and services, and also reflects Terra Cat’s connection to the land and to the grounded nature of our people and our relationships. The hard working identity is built on a robust system, straight forward and straight up in character. A story that delivers confidence in the power of Terra Cat partnerships.
